一、 What do our customers expect from engergy saving LED display?
Lower Power Consumption
In most customers’ eyes, energy saving means lower power consumption and lower power costs.
Slightly higher price
Slightly higher price for energy-saving LED display means reasonably higher investment on the stage of purchase.
二、Why energy-saving has been termed only as an additional value in the marketing of LED display?
The fact is most clients are uncertain about the long-turn investment return of energy-saving LED displays and the difference between normal and energy-saving LED displays.
三、Energy saving is an integrated solution with the keyword “saving”
3.1 The ways of energy-saving we are familiar with are as follows:
1) Applying LED lamp with high lighting effect and reducing the electric energy waste due to the heating of the LED lamps themselves.
2) Applying high-efficiency power supply and reducing the electric energy waste due to the heating of the power supply itself.
According to the principle of conservation of energy, the total input drive power = total output power+ heating power loss of the power supply. The high efficiency power supply reduces the consumption of power due to heating and enhances the output of total power as to supply to the load modules.
3) Applying energy-saving IC and reducing electric energy waste due to the heating of IC itself.
Energy saving IC means lower pressure drop while the IC is working. As we all know, Power consumption=electric current x pressure drop, with the same electric current, lower pressure drop means lower power consumption. Normally, the energy saving driving IC’s pressure drop is 0.2V, while the regular driving IC is 0.5V.
4)Special electric circuit design, reducing the power loss.

The pressure drops of red, green and blue lamps are respectively 1.8v,3.3v and 3.3v. Added with other components’ pressure drop, the input voltage to red, green and blue lamps are 2.8V, 3.8V, and 3.8V.
Regularly, we use the same input voltage for red, green and blue lamps, for example 5V, which means there will be some pressure drop lost, red lamps(5V-1.8V=3.2V), green lamps(5V-3.3V=2.7V) and blue lamps(5V-3.3V=2.7V).
While, our energy saving product uses 2.8V power for red lamps, 3.8V power for green and blue lamps, thus reducing the pressure drop loss.
5)Automatic brightness control, reducing power consumption during cloudy days and night time.

As we all know, the higher brightness means higher power consumption. During cloudy days and night time, we can reduce the led display brightness automatically with automatic brightness control system, which will further reduce the total power consumption.
3.2 Where else did we do except the above ?
1)Waterproof modules can be exposed to the air directly, thus dissipating the heat and eliminate the air conditioner costs.
2）Use aluminum cabinet, eliminating the wrap-up costs
Aluminum cabinet can be exposed to air directly, and there will be no rustiness and there is no need to wrap up the whole display.
3）All modules are connect to the hub card with same distance, reducing energy loss during transmission.
The hub card is installed in the center of cabinet, all modules are connected to the hub card with same distance, thus reducing the energy loss during signal and power transmission.
4）Fan-Free Design
There is no fans, reducing the energy cost by fans.
